The Domestic Carnivore: Raw Dog & Cat Rescue existed well before its name did. It originally started out as a passion for animals in need and quickly developed into something way bigger then anybody could have forseen

Our permanent residents
By clicking on each photo you have the chance to read each animal story and learn more about our work!
All these animals make up our permanent residence THE PACK and will stay with us for the rest of their life. They play a very important part of the rehabilitation of each animal that comes in. There is only so much we humans can do but so much more the animals can do for a new arrival. Animals have an amazing energy around them and if the pack is balanced and happy they automatically pass that on to any new member! How easy is that? There is still so much we can learn from observing the animals we are living with. Give it a try and watch your animal a bit more closely, you will be surprised!

Rehabilition At TDC

We at The Domestic Carnivore are able to work fulltime with that specific animal in all areas to guarantee a successful rehabilitation and find a matching new home. Only a few of our animals are actually adopted out because of specific medical or behavioral issues. The ones that stay with us need a lot of “one on one” time and our goal is to hire an additional person that can be trained by The Domestic Carnivore to help out with the day to day operations
